More fun things to do with Paint

I decided to squirt some paint on to galss, then place another sheet on top then apply pressure, great. but not quite right so then I rotated it 360 degrees, this is it, much better.
Ilearned some interesting things on the painting elective about positive and negative spaces. Also that the the task of copying the Lucien Freud, whilst it was difficult made me realise how much I looked forward to painting.

Ceramics week 2

Here is the coil pot after it has been done with resist glaze then top glaze and heated up to 1000 degrees, then removed and placed into a container full of wood shavings which then smoulders and permeates into the glaze, and the design i drew is left on the white glaze, after firing the glaze can be removed. I can see why ceramicists get hooked on this type of process, exciting, as there is a great element of chance in the way your The top bowl is painted in a coloured glaze and when fired will  achieve a shiny finish
